Beth Liebowitz has a BFA in dance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Masters of Science in Dance/Movement Therapy from Sarah Lawrence College.

Beth has always been inspired to make her own work. She grew up creating shows performed to an audience of stuffed animals, dolls, and willing family members. What felt most authentic, however, was singing while walking, narrating her experience during the day, and dancing when emotions would rise so high that only movement could match the moment's intensity. Growing up inside her own musical of sorts has guided her work to focus on movement as a dichotomy of intricate and simple tasks that bring relationship into action.

B&A first came together at A Farm Show. In May, 2013, the Company had its New York debut with the piece Innisfree Constructed - live music and movement inspired by the poem The Lake Isle of Innisfree by W.B. Yeats.

Venues have included: Dixon Place, Triskelion Arts, Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, The Robert Moss Theatre, 133rd Street Arts Center, Bridge for Dance, New Art Center (MA), Bronx Museum of the Arts, The Hatch, and Greenwich House.
